I also thank the colleagues who did not get the maximum score, but worked hard and contributed essentially to the high score of the Democratic Party in the national constituency. They did an extraordinary job in this campaign”, declared the politician.
At the same time, Vlad Plahotniuc announced that the Democratic Party is ready for the negotiations for a Hung parliament. ”I would like to congratulate all parties that took part in the elections as well. Beyond natural competition, it is important to leave past resentments behind and look ahead, towards the needs and aspirations of citizens. Now, I say it very firmly, Democratic Party is ready to begin negotiations with parties and independents that get into the Parliament to offer citizens a parliamentary majority and a functional Government, which would allow us to start fulfilling commitments assumed with regard to voters. We would like to have a first discussion right in the coming days, which would be natural. We hope that it will be as productive as possible”, declared Vlad Plahotniuc.
”We have no self-importance, resentments or prejudices, doctrinal differences are not in the first place, however, the interest of our citizens is above all for us to give them a competent government that can make their life better. I am always saying this - people want deeds, not words, thus it is high time to proceed to work, immediately after the validation of mandates”, added the chairman of DPM.
