Deputy President of the DPM; MP in the Republic of Moldova Parliament
She is a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, joining in 2017 the Democratic Party in Moldova faction. She leads the Parliamentary Committee for Public Administration, Regional Development, Environment, and Climate Changes.
She was born on September 15, 1967 in Ocniţa rayon, Grinăuţi-Moldova village. She studied at the International Relations and Diplomatic Studies Academy in Chisinau, as well as Engineering Institute from Kharkov, Ukraine. She is married and has two children.
During 2007-2009 she was Deputy Minister and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, and afterwards she was elected as co-Chair of the Political Bureau of OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), Paris, France, co-Chair of the Environment Process for Sustainable Development, Geneva, Switzerland, co-Chair of Environment and Security Initiative UNEP, Geneva, Switzerland and Member of the Global Environment Fund Council, USA, Washington.
She built her professional career in the environmental area, holding during 1989 – 2007 the position of specialist, Head of Section, Head of Division, Head of Department within the central body for environment protection in the Republic of Moldova.
