PDM representatives won against PSRM in 8 out of 10 regional elections
Candidate from the Democratic Party of Moldova, have won local elections, held on Sunday, in 8 out of 10 regions. In two villages candidates from PDM have entered the second stage, being the leaders. Those are preliminary data offered by CEC.
Therefore, PDM representative has won in Zârneşti commune, Cahul region. Nicolae Beju was chosen there by 90% of voters. His opponent was socialist Victor Pascal.
PDMrepresentative Ion Scutaru, managed to also become Mayor of Căpriana, with over 80% of votes, who as well competed wth a PSRM representative.
In Fundurii Noi village, Glodeni, over 60% of people chose PDM candidate Vasili Colenco, having defeated socialist Tatiana Ghetmancenco.
In Ghiliceni commune, Teleneşti, the Mayor will be democrat Nicolae Rotaru, who gained the support of 55% of voters.
At the same time, in Sărăteni commune, Leova, PDM epresentative Vladimir Ungureanu was chose, while in Ştefăneşti commune, Floreşti - democrat Ludmila Zdraguş.
In another two districts, PDM forwarded one representatives each, both having won the election. We speak of Plopi commune, Cantemir, which is now led by Anatoli Todorov and Lăpuşna commune, Hânceşti, by Ion Bubuioc.
Berlinţi commune, Briceni, will have a second stage. For the position of Mayor is currently competing democrat Viorica Oleinic and socialist Iurii Beliciuc.
In Sângera town, Chişinău, will also hold a second stage, where people will have to chose between PDM's Valeriu Poiata and PSRM's Sergiu Brânzila.
Regional elections were held in those regions, due to Mayors being unable to do their duties, from various reasons.
