PDM put up European integration to amend Moldovan Constitution - Vlad Plahotniuc
Moldovan Democratic Party initiates the amendment of Constitution by introducing a reference which clearly states European integration to be strategic orientation of Moldova. The statement was made by PDM Chairman, Vlad Plahotniuc in the weekly session of party.
"We have also tabled the Constitution's amendment, a project we have been working for many months inside the Democratic Party. This initiative starts with a rule by the Constitutional Court (CC), no. 24 on October 9, 2014. By CC notes, the orientation towards the European democratic value space is a defining element of the constitutional identity of the Republic of Moldova. In view of this decision, we decided to initiate the amendment of the Constitution by introducing a reference that clearly declares European integration as Moldovan strategic orientation", declared PDM leader . According to Vlad Plahotniuc, further details regarding this constitutional amendment will be communicated during the preceding actions.
The topic of nutritious meals for children in kindergartens and schools as well as in hospitals was an other discussed subject in the weekly meeting of Democratic Party. PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc declared his firm actions and giver orders on this issue so as to protect people's healthy lives.
"We had very serious discussion with colleagues about the alimentary situation. I have also received a letter sent by a group of parents in which they described the actual condition of food delivered to institutions. Then we submitted that petition to responsible institutions so that they can analyze and make actions according to Moldovan legisation. We also call for firm measures against this painful problem so as to ensure the better alimentary condition for our people, especially our future generations," said Vlad Plahotniuc.
Vlad Plahotniuc spoke about rehabilitation works of the roads in the country. He mentioned that there is budget for this area, but the institutions have not been able to find solutions to use them. "We have found that there is money allocated for this area for decades, but but the institutions have not been able to find solutions to use them to begin road construction or rehabilitation works. The Government will come up with an analysis in the coming days regarding solutions to better works. In some situations you may need legislative modifications, at times, some people may need to be fired. Certainly we will thing as many as we can to improve these situations", concluded Vlad Plahotniuc.
